Get Rich Quick Scams RevealedRead this article before you consider paying for a "get rich quick" program.
From: potentialEverybody would love to make lots of money quickly, working from home, and only doing a few hours of work per week. I've spent the past two years trying to find a great way of doing this. Only over the course of the past few months have I found any "get rich quick" programs worth buying. I've been trying to make money online for a long time. I had a few small websites, but they never made much more than a few hundred per month. It was easy money and didn't require much work on my part, but I knew there were people out there doing better than I was and I knew I could do as well as them. Now, I've seen a lot of "get rich quick" programs. Most of these people make claims about earning $2000/day with Google or something similarly insane. Almost all of these people are complete liars. Even if they were making $2000/day with Google AdSense, it'd be because they had high- traffic websites with a lot of quality content. I'd know, because in one whole month, I never even made half of what they promised I'd make daily with their programs. Maybe you've already been scammed by one of these fraudsters. Anyway, I finally got sick of what was being offered. I decided I'd look through the all of the "get rich quick" programs I could find and see if there were any that were actually legitimate. I found that there were owners selling their programs for well over $100, but the information in them could be found almost anywhere online for free. Additionally, they all contained out-of-date information, had no e-mail support, no money back guarantees, and broken links in the downloads section. In conclusion, almost all of the programs I found were completely useless. The owners knew it, but they couldn't care less about their customers since they didn't offer refund policies! Amazingly, while looking through all of the programs, I actually did find a few legitimate programs. They were run by ordinary people like you and me, and they had found some great methods of making money from their home by doing very little work. I spent some time working with those programs, and my income is now ten times what it used to be. These programs provided a large amount of great information on how to make extra money on your computer doing very little work. Numerous customers had provided great feedback and reviews for their products. Many of them have started to make money just days after buying! Their programs have excellent prices, and the authors have a group of paid staff who are dedicating to helping you or providing assistance if you need any. I must say I was amazed! If you do decide to purchase any of the programs listed below, I recommend you join quickly. Most of the owners tell me they are getting an overwhelming number of sales and plan on raising prices in the near future, so order while prices are still low! To Your Online Success, potential

Web Design or Seo? What Works Best?

Description:

Having a beautiful website no one can find is like having a store and keeping the doors locked. You know it is there, you've done a great job decorating it, the products are waiting for the customers, yet no one comes in.

Web design focuses on appearance and aesthetics. SEO focuses on text quality and quantity. Web designers don't really like to clutter their designs with text. They prefer to see the images stand out on their own. SEOs on the other hand don't like images that much. Sure, an image can be optimized for the search engines by adding relevant alt attributes and titles, but this is not enough for a site to be properly optimized. Page copy still plays the most important role in website optimization for SEO.

As a business owner you are caught in the middle of this conflict. For your website to convert you need both design and optimization. There is no middle way. You cannot have a little bit of this and a little bit of that and still be competitive. You cannot have just one of the two either.

Without optimization your site is invisible to the search engines, hence to your potential customers. On the other hand, without a good design your site, although not invisible, will get nothing but hits. Web users are picky and if they find nothing of interest on your site they will just surf to the next site.

When you pay for web design don't automatically assume that by paying thousands of dollars on a layout you'll be a hit on the Web. The Web is a highly competitive place. There are already thousands entrepreneurs who, just like you, invest in design and hope to become the new “it.” Without online marketing (SEO being an important part of the discipline) all these entrepreneurs will remain in the shadow, with their beautiful websites closed to the world.

SEO is the key to that virtual door you need to open for your customers. It is important that you consider this tool when you first conceive your site. Web design and SEO don't need to be enemies. There are enough professional agencies that employ both web designers and SEOs who work together to develop a good business website, a site that is SEO ready, accessible and readable with any browser. You just need to take your time, research and send a few inquiries. Then choose the company that answers your questions in a timely manner, basically choose the company that proves a clear ability of designing with W3C standards and a clear understanding of the online trends and realities.

Then balancing content with visual appearance shouldn't be such a difficult task. Aside graphics and artwork you have to choose proper font types, in a readable size, with colors that harmonize with the layout of the site and so on. If your site is not SEO ready from the first stage of the project you'll face additional costs after you launch. SEO ready means a site that is properly coded (errors in the HTML code might stop some search bots from crawling and indexing your site correctly), with good navigability and good internal linking structure.

On the other hand, SEO and appearance are not the only traits of a good site. Brand conscious companies should look at the broader picture: instead of debating what is better online entrepreneurs should ask themselves what works best to convert visitors into clients.
Studies show that an over optimized page might hurt the user-experience of people with disabilities. For example, many SEOs stuff the image alt attributes and their alternative titles with keywords. Blind and other visually impaired people who use screen readers to access the Web and read the pages cannot see the images and, instead of listening to a relevant image description, they'll hear... nonsense.

Usability and accessibility are equally important as design and optimization. Strangely enough images are better for usability. They give focus to the design and when properly optimized they provide for less cluttered website content. The problems appear when the images slow down the loading times, but with the use of CSS loading times should not be a big concern.

As search engines prefer fast loading sites it is easy top understand why good coding and optimization are so important. Poor coding raises many other problems aside loading times and might increase costs when you need website updates, especially when your website administrator is not the one who created your site.

Are you Prepared for a Fresh Set of Challenges?

Description:

As we near the end of the year, this is an excellent time to take stock and ask yourself some important questions to ensure that you are totally prepared for the fresh set of challenges that lay ahead next year.

Content:

All managers depend on those who work for them to produce the results by which they are judged, consideration should thereforebe given to regularly examining the nature and characteristics of their role.

As we near the end of the year, this is an excellent time to take stock and ask yourself some important questions to ensure that you are totally prepared for the fresh set of challenges that lay ahead next year

* What are the objectives of my department, function and company?

* Am I satisfied that I feel these can be achieved - that I have a plan for this?

* In what ways can my department/company be improved?

* Is the work in my area altering in nature, quantity or quality?

* Can the work be done it a better way?

* Have I the right equipment and facilities?

* Have I the right number of staff?

* Am I happy that all my subordinates are correctly placed and loaded?

* Is my staff doing what I want them to do?

* Do any of my staff need further training? Have I a training plan?

* What are the staffing trends?

* Are my staff happy? Do I spend enough time with them?

* Have I a trained deputy?

* Am I satisfied personally?

* Is my authority defined and adequate?

* Is my relationship with senior management satisfactory?

* Where is my next promotion coming from?

* Am I doing too much routine or administrative/clerical work?

* Have I enough time for thinking?

Summary:

For a group of people to remain “consciously competent” at optimum performance levels, they require frequent injections of stimulation, motivational guidance and prompting otherwise they can easily lapse into” unconsciously competent”, or worse, “unconsciously incompetent”

The primary objective of a professional manager has to be:

“To achieve consistently superior results, through the performance of every key individual.”

However, you can only achieve that objective if you, yourself, are fully committed and focussed on what will be required.

Think About Thinking: a Little Effort With Strategic Thinking Can Make a Difference

Description:

Thinking can be hard work. It takes deliberate effort to simplify something complex. That is why most people avoid it and stick to routine or familiar work processes and busy work rather than challenging the status quo and tapping into imagination.

Content:

Thomas J. Watson, the founder of IBM said, “I wouldn’t give a fig for the simplicity on this side of complexity but I would give my right arm for the simplicity on the far side of complexity.” What Watson understood was that a simple idea was infinitely more likely to get implemented than a complex one.

But sometimes in the corporate world there is a tendency to grab hold of the first simple strategy purely because is it popular or easy to execute. However, acting too soon “on the near side of complexity” can be more costly in time and money than taking the time up front to really understand a problem.

The following illustrates this idea. The staff at a Dallas Hospital was very concerned about the sharp increase in the number of back injuries that the nursing staff was experiencing. They looked at the data and a simple solution became apparent. They determined to put all nurses through a management training course to help them understand how to lift and use their bodies better to keep from injuring themselves. The training was implemented but the injuries continued.

The hospital management training team decided it was time to reconsider the problem. This time they included in their analysis a visit with the nurses. Those additional interview data points revealed that the laundry shoot on the 2nd floor that had been recently installed was too high off the ground and the nurses were straining their backs to get the laundry into the shoot. Now, the solution was to rebuild the laundry shoot lower to the ground. The shoot was rebuilt and the injuries went down.

Hindsight is always 20-20. But the simplicity of the more effective solution still begs the question… “why didn’t they just talk to the nurses in the first place?” Here are two of the answers that they came up with:

a) The leadership team reviewed the initial data and a training solution was quick, easy and familiar. They were sincere in their desire to solve the problem but assumed that since it had worked in the past, it would work in this case.

b) Those responsible for the financial consequences were very anxious to start a solution. Gathering additional data seemed to only delay the process.

The training solution was simple and executable. Ironically, the simple solution wasn’t a solution at all. Because it was simple and easily implemented, they missed getting the additional data that would have saved time and money and spared the frustration of the nursing staff. That is the power of “simplicity on the far side of complexity.”

The Dog Whisperer is a current TV program available on cable. It is a show that features a man who is very good at what he does. He has a deep understanding on how to train dogs. He has a special way with dogs and seems to relate personally with them. One program featured a dog that was very shy during their walks through the park. So shy in fact that the dog would put his tail between his legs and cower rather then enjoy the outdoors.

The Dog Whisperer came up with a remedy, which seemed unusually simple. He devised a special leash for the owner to use… that would hold the tail up rather than let the tail go between the legs. Simply holding the tail up seemed to change the confidence level of the dog. This simple strategic thinking miraculously changed the dog’s demeanor and he was able to enjoy, with confidence, his walks through the park. The strategy was simple yet effective.

Drawing on the wisdom of Thomas J. Watson again, he said, “All the problems of the world could easily be solved if people were only willing to think. The trouble is that people very often resort to all sorts of devices in order not to think, because thinking is such hard work.”

Thinking can be hard work. It takes deliberate effort to simplify something complex. That is why most people avoid it and stick to routine or familiar work processes and busy work rather than challenging the status quo and tapping into imagination. It can be risky in an organization that favors tradition and convention even when it is no longer effective. However, those who are willing to put in just a little additional effort to think through their roles and contributions to an organization will distinguish themselves very quickly as problem solvers.

If you want to get ahead, learn to think!

Corporate America doesn’t reward thinking. If employees are sitting at their desks thinking, they are usually considered slacking off. Strategic thinking is taken for granted and the workplace is reserved for “doing” rather than “thinking.” However, solving problems is recognized and rewarded. According to Steve Stowell and Stephanie Mead, authors of Ahead Of The Curve, there are 7 steps to thinking more strategically and becoming a problem solver.

Step 1) Tame The Beast – Learn how to minimize distractions and set aside time to think.

Step 3) Gather Intelligence – Determine what you need to know and then gather the data. Make sure you understand what info is valuable and what is just clutter.

Step 4) Analyze Forces – Look for key driving forces and restraining forces and analyze risks and opportunities that could derail or bolster your campaign. Understand what your strengths and weakness are.

Learn about Steps 2, 5, 6, and 7 by reading the book, contacting a CMOE representative, or attend a training sessions on the strategic planning process. Visit CMOE for more information or call toll free (888)262-2499 and ask for an introduction on Strategic Thinking.

Four Key Components of Good Failover Systems

Description:

A failover system is necessary to prepare for printer, fax machine, and database outages and delays. Avoid losses in profits as well as downtime in your business.

Content:

Failover is a crucial component of any output management system. Enterprise output necessitates the preparation for outages and delays related to printers, fax machines, databases and other related equipment. Downtime can have a serious negative impact on business functions and profits, so securing the right failover program for your output management system is key. Here are four essential components to look for when searching for a failover system to meet your needs:

Shared-disk configuration. The output server can be set up on a single domain which can be shared by both the primary and backup servers. Finding a failover system with real-time monitoring of this configuration is an added bonus.

Routing multiple devices through a singular delivery conduit. Jobs can be directed towards the first available device instead of getting backed up on failed printers or behind large tasks.

Manual control of failover during maintenance. When its time to make adjustments to the primary server, failover can be utilized to avoid interruption of document delivery.

Compatibility with third party backup systems. If you already have a backup server in place, you’ll want to find a failover system that integrates with the existing system to provide as seamless incorporation as possible.

Armed with these tips, your company can make the best decision on the failover program that is right for them. And that’s a good thing – your business might just depend on it.

Why Work At Home? Questions to Ask Yourself Before Starting A Home Based Business

Description:

Are you cut out for a home business? There are several questions you need to ask yourself before jumping on the home business bandwagon.

Content:

Home-based businesses are the trend of the future. An increasing number of men and women are now opting to work at the comfort of their homes. Many of them are tired of office politics and being forced to give up their weekend for the good of the company. They are rediscovering the benefits of working at home. A home-based business is a great chance for many people, especially parents of growing kids, to strike a balance between career and family. An apparent advantage that a home-based business has over a traditional job is the freedom from the daily commute to office.

Moreover, technological innovations in the past decades have created an unprecedented environment for home-based businesses. Transactions are being made over the Internet everyday, with huge profits and hundreds of thousands of niches to be tapped into. Working from home is now viewed by many as their ticket to realizing their full potentials. The amount of money you could earn online is proportional to your own performance, without waiting for the boss to give you a raise or promotion. Whether your home-based business provides you with the sole means of support or just generates another income stream, its earning potential relies on your self-motivation and dedication to build momentum for it.

The financial benefits of working at home seem to be very attractive. However, starting a home-based business is not for everyone. If creating a successful home business is easy, everybody would be doing it. Before you jump at the chance of starting your business, ask yourself if you're willing to make the sacrifices to make your dream come true. To be more specific, ask yourself if you're the right type of person for a home-based business.

Having a home-based business means you're the boss. You're totally responsible for the success or failure of your own business. Are you able to work independently? Do you have the patience and perseverance with which you can overcome hardship and lead your business to full bloom? Are you excited about learning new things everyday? You need to equip yourself with necessary skills and knowledge to stay ahead of the competition. An important factor that determines the fate of any home-based business is consistent promotion. Do you have the drive to push yourself to make marketing plans and follow them on a daily basis? If your answers to these questions are positive, then congratulations and welcome on board.

I used to get negative comments from people when I shared with them my own business. They often labeled what I'm doing as a scam. The fear factor always holds people back and prevents them from starting a home-based business. They are so afraid of failure that they're reluctant to give it a try. To some extent, they envy those people who took action and have a home-based business. This is something they dream of but can't achieve. I'm sure you'll get derogatory remarks from time to time like I did. And my view is: follow your heart and do what's interesting to you. You'll find a business that suits your needs because there are unlimited opportunities out there. Stay focused with whatever you're doing. Your success is the best revenge for their cutting words.

Let Me Help You Make More Money

Description:

It's one sentence. Do you know it?

Content:

Money - whether it's in the form of increased revenue or decreased expenses - is what makes the business world go 'round. Save someone time and you've decreased their expenses. Increase the reach of their message and you've increased their revenue. Either way, you've helped them make more money.

Making more money requires a single sentence, and there - in the title of this article - I just helped you make more money. that was it.

Did you miss it? I'll say it again: "Let me help you make more money." If you can honestly say that to your B2B customers, you'll be rich in no time. It's guaranteed.

Stop thinking about yourself. Don't worry about your own needs. Yes, I know that's difficult, but having a focus on helping your customer make more money is the surest approach to wealth.

Bill Gates (the richest man in the known universe) didn't say "Buy Windows software so that I can be rich." he said "Buy Windows software so that your corporate productivity goes up." Buyers beat a path to the door of the new company he named Microsoft. He offered the most cost effective solution available in the market.

He found a need and he filled it. Can you?

"Let me help you make more money." It's an irresistable offer to business buyers.

"Let me help you make more money." It's a conversation starter that works in any situation. If you're worried that you don't have a good "elevator pitch", start with an offer of helping someone to make more money.

Turn to the executive in the power suit beside you and say "Let me help you make more money." and you instantly have the full and complete attention of someone who barely noticed you a moment ago. Someone lost in thought, worried about the bottom line, trying to get ahead in the marketplace.

Every corporate executive, small business person and home business owner is looking for ways to make more money. It's a universal concept and it's one that you can capitalize on in your own business.

No executive on earth is going to say "No, thank you." to an offer like that. You know the executive is going to say "Really? How?" and then you have their attention. At the very least, they'll want to hear what you have in mind. Just capturing their attention brings you closer to a potential sale.

Then bring the deal home. Demonstrate the ways in which your offer saves money, time, increases the reach of a message, improves bottom line results - whatever it is that you're in business to do. Help them see how your offer helps them make them more money.

Run Your Business like a Country: The Value of Vision

Description:

Why your business should be built with a philosophy in mind.

Content:

As Margaret Thatcher once said "America was built on a philosophy and Europe was built on history."

The philosophy that was used to build America is defined in the Constitution.

Our founding fathers declared we are entitled to "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" and they created the infrastructure (legal systems, congress, and executive branch for example) to allow us to engage and measure our progress.

The Constitution is the document that the Supreme Court uses to provide clarity on issues when necessary. The Supreme Court judges try to understand what our founding fathers wanted to express and their court decisions are based on and tested against the vision created by our founding fathers.

This great country has lasted for more than 200 years using this system. Is it perfect, no; but it works.

If our country was built on a philosophy, shouldn't a business be built on a philosophy? The business vision should follow from and define the business philosophy. Could you imagine a company that makes decisions that are grounded in a guiding philosophy? Many of the successful one do.

The United States has grown and prospered because the fabric of our country is imbued with the basic understanding that we are individually responsible for our actions and our situation. We can create redress through the courts when necessary but the foundation of the Constitution is taking ownership, action, and responsibility.

If this concept works so well and for so long in our government, can you imagine how a business can be built using this proven principle. Why don't businesses create a document that is the corner stone of the business? They can use this document for fundamental decision making. When written correctly this document would be flexible enough to change as the business changes. It would explain the fundamental philosophy behind the business and the purpose for the business. It would serve to define and attract the type of employees that would flourish.

A business then could articulate its "Bill of Rights." This "Bill of Rights" would be used for decision making. It might read something like this:

1. This business is in business to make money and be profitable.

2. This business is a social entity that creates jobs and feeds families and provides a valuable service to the community.

3. Profits from this business should not be limited except by the value of the product and services as perceived and dictated by the market. This assumes no price gouging or unfair practices.

4. The essence of any business is its people. As individuals, each person is responsible for providing value for the opportunity to work here.

5. This business will treat each individual employee as an investment that provides value to this business.

6. Each employee will be treated with respect and dignity and afforded the opportunity to create a position that allows them a satisfying and productive work life.

7. This business, being a part of a bigger community, has the obligation to be a valuable member of that community and make that community better through active community participation by its employees.

8. These articles can be amended as necessary by 2/3 majority of the management team and 50% majority of the employees.

9. Each person hired will be empowered to their job. This will be done by a management team that will assume the responsibility for implementing these "rights."

10. We are in business to provide a fair and valuable service to our customers and clients. If our clients and customer do not treat us with the same respect and dignity, we have the right to fire them.

We have a privilege to work but no one owes us a job. If we do not take responsibility for keeping our skills current we must accept the responsibility of our actions.

At the same time a company has the obligation to help employees maintain marketable skills. Employees cannot contribute if they do not have the necessary skills. Management, if they are doing their job, will navigate the company through changing market conditions. Employees need to be aware of these changes and given an opportunity to prepare, contribute and participate in these changes.

Businesses are major part of most communities. They need to be actively involved in the community and help guide the community to be the best it can be. Usually what is best for the community is good for business. If the community plans to implement actions that will negatively impacts the business community, the community needs to take a step back and understand why they are biting the hand that feeds them. They must accept the responsibility for their actions just a business must accept this responsibility. I am all for change but it must be well thought out and well executed.

Being in business is about taking healthy, calculated risks by creative and intelligent people. Each business owner is entitled to experience both the pain and benefits of starting and running a business. I believe that we are designed, from the time we are born, to actively create and grow. Starting a business is just one aspect of personal and business growth.

There seems to be a problem with the amount of profit some companies are making; especially the oil companies. How come we do not hold the government to the same standards? Communities raise taxes when they want more money. Who questions the government when their spending is not consistent with their "employees" wishes? The oil companies invested millions of dollars in their oil producing infrastructure. These are fixed cost were justified based on past expenditures. If they are smart they will reinvestment the profit into new technologies that will help them make money in the future. If they don't do this they may become like the steel industry in the United States; almost obsolete.

Build a vision for your company as if you are building the constitution of the United States. Invest your company with the same kind of clarity of purpose as the founders of our country articulated in constitution. Build your corporate vision to last not only for your life time but the lifetime of your children and their children; on through time.

Every successful organization I worked with was clear on the vision and mission and used this information to make decisions about what was right for the organization. Create your company to last with a strong foundation.

10 reasons why you should buy an Ipod nano

Description:

A trendsetter and expensive is what the ipod nano is to most people. It makes a statement that I have arrived and I appreciate technology to the fullest. To some it is just another music player to others it is the best.

Content:

Imagine a space of 2GB or 4 GB?this means you can store from 500-1000 songs. Pure listening pleasure.

The click wheel and color display take music towards new horizons---plays 14 hours of music.

Carries photos, pod casts, and audio books. You can navigate through many photographs using the click wheel. Photos can be transferred and synced with a folder using the itunes softwear.

The ipod can be accessorized using the dock connector and head phone jack. So music follows you around at home, in the car, and even while walking or running. Where ever you go the ipod will follow.

Its feather weight and so easy to lug around. The screen does not crack or break easily contrary to fears. However the ipod is not scratch or stain proof.

Synchronized with iTunes and the iTunes Music Store, the ipod can access the world?s largest selection of music.

The pod has a state of the art processor, system performance, and flash memory. The technology is such that it never skips.

The system requirements are everyday, either a MAC OS x 10.3.4 with aUSB port or Windows 2000 SP4 or windows XP.

Music is your whole life and pure unadulterated sound is something to die for.

Expensive, the ipod retails at US$199 for 2GB and US$249 for 4 GB. But it sets the trend and gives a vison of what music heaven can be.

Great Business Success Tip: "knowledge is Power" is a Crock!

Description:

It's not WHAT you know, it's WHO you know… If I knew then what I know now… I wish I knew what to do… All that talk about knowledge. Hey, "The great aim of education is not knowledge…" as Herbert Spencer pointed out. Knowledge is NOT power. Never been. Never will be. So, if knowledge is NOT power, what is?

Content:

An interesting question popped into my mind a couple of days ago while I was driving behind a flatbed truck carrying a brand new Jaguar X-Type. I thought; as it rests now, is that really a car?

Until someone sits in the driver's seat, turns on the ignition, puts it in gear and actually drives it, is it a car or just an assembly of metal, plastic, glass, rubber, and electronics? Think about this.

No, really. What good is the soft craftsmen-stitched leather until someone actually sinks into the seat? And the hand-crafted bird's-eye maple veneer trim isn't real wood until one runs his fingers over it to feel the soft grain. What's the point of a multi-speaker zillion-watt sound system until someone pops a Pavarotti or ZZ Top CD in the player and makes all the windows shake?

What exactly does "Dynamic Stability Control" mean to an inanimate thing strapped down on a flatbed? And what's the use for those 231 horses under the bonnet (it's a British car!) if no one's giving them a chance to haul the chariot like a bat out of hell?

"Ok, what's your point Daniel?" I hear you.

My point is that maybe all things are really nothing until something is DONE with them by somebody, somehow, somewhere, somewhen. My point is that desires, ambitions, ideas, plans, projects, dreams and goals are NOTHINGuntil some ACTIONS are taken, until passionate energy is deployed, elbow grease is used, sparks of electricity are produced.

Just like that Jag is nothing more than an expensive heap of assorted partsreally totally uselessuntil someone turns on the ignition and starts driving it, using it for what it was meant to DO. Then, and only then, in my opinion, it becomes a CAR!

Here's another thing that needs ACTION to become something: knowledge. There are a few statements I hear repeated over and over that drive me nuts because they are either fallacies or half-truths. Here's one of them: "Knowledge is Power"

That's a crock! It's not true. Here's the truth: knowledge is power ONLY when it is combined with ACTION!

Another truth is that much of the information you find in the articles here you know already. A lot of it is common knowledge, but the problem is, it's NOT common practice. The difference between the two is a simple but powerful six-letter word: A C T I O N.

If you're reading these articles because you want to flourish on the road to business success (or as I like to spell it, BUSINE$$ SUCCE$$) you must keep in mind at all times that truism from business philosopher Jim Rohn; "Success is a DOING!" Success comes from DOINGnot merely knowing!

Here's a simple example (some would say 'simplistic'...). Just bear with me.

Let's say your printer is out of red inkwhich means you can't print your letterhead. You KNOW that a new ink cartridge will fix the problem. And you KNOW you have a coupon in your drawer for a 50% discount at ABC Office Supplies. You KNOW where the store is located. You KNOW how to get there. You KNOW how to ask for it and pay for it. But right this minute you still can't print your letterhead.

That's because you can't stick knowledge in your printer and make it work. All that knowledge has very little power to fix anything. You need the actual cartridge.

Ok, let's say you ACTED and got the cartridge, got home, and put it on the shelf next to the printer. Well, now you KNOW where it is, and you KNOW you'll be able to continue with your work after you install it, and you KNOW how to install it, but it won't do you any good to KNOW all that until you actually perform the ACTION of installing it in the printer ... you KNOW that, don't you?

So, the (blatantly obvious) point I want to make here is that none of the valuable knowledge you'll gather from the articles you read will bring you any personal or professional success unless you put it into PRACTICE. Period!

Top Mistakes Affiliate Marketers Make

Description:

Although it is the perfect business for many people, making money with online affiliate marketing programs online can be almost impossible unless you avoid the hard learned mistakes others have already made.

Content:

Although it is the perfect business for many people, making money with online affiliate marketing programs online can be almost impossible unless you avoid the hard learned mistakes others have already made. All the knowledge you gain as an affiliate marketer is an investment toward building your commission checks and success as an affiliate marketer.

Do not be afraid to spend time learning new tips and strategies to drive your business forward. Purchase and read E-books and read articles, newsletters and forums. Remember, no matter what you are selling, your main business is that of affiliate marketing and you will do best learning as much as you can about how to succeed with it.

The affiliate marketing industry changes almost daily and the marketers who stay on top of these new techniques know what works before others do, and profit bigger and faster because of it.

If you are not seeing the results you want, and do not know what else to try, the reason is probably a lack of knowledge. It is also important to read Internet marketing forums and ask questions. Find things that have worked for others and adapt those strategies to your own business. Do what works best for you and you will go far.

One of the biggest mistakes that a beginner affiliate makes is spreading themselves out to thin. They constantly jump from one so-called opportunity to another hoping it will make them rich fast.

They never get the ball rolling in any one direction and always come up short. To succeed in affiliate marketing, one must strive to make something work for them until at least a good amount of time and effort has been put in, to see if the affiliate program, or product, or other type of scheme is really worth the effort.

Now, it is important to diversify. When you diversify online, you move to work on another opportunity when what you are working on is already bringing you results. If you develop websites to sell skin care products, and you make consistent sales, then you might consider developing your efforts in another niche market, such as weight loss, for even bigger profits.

This is called building multiple income streams.

Instead however, many beginner affiliates try to promote all types of different products without focusing on one at a time. A beginner should choose a product in one niche market, learn that product inside out and sell it well, and move onto the next while taking the skills learned to make money even faster.

Once you can sell one type of product well, you will know what works the next time around. You will have residual income coming in from your first product promotions, and can start to build on that with sales from the new product.

Again, spend some time learning about what works in affiliate marketing. Whether you are a complete beginner trying to earn your first paycheck online, or are a seasoned marketer, there is always something to improve. As you hone your selling and copywriting skills, use them to make even more sales.

If at first you do not see results, try to keep working toward your goal with one affiliate program or product at a time. The first sale is the hardest one to make but it is worth it once you get there.

Affiliate marketing is not a get rich quick scheme but like any other legitimate business, it takes time and effort to see consistent results.

Also once your affiliate business is on the rise, pay even more attention to it! Avoid getting lazy thinking it will improve by itself because most of the time, it wont. Write more articles, and attract more traffic and links and your websites will stay on top.

Another mistake affiliates make that ties closely with this idea of building, is that they get lazy. A seasoned affiliate knows that once success starts to show with a promotion, you must double, or even triple your efforts!

Definitely stay proactive with your selling! You will make more money because success builds on success and you will now believe you can do even better! Use this motivation to build new websites and bring in even more traffic and sales, and you will see your affiliate income grow each week.

How Much Do you Need to Start Internet Home Business

How much do you need to start internet home business.

How much do you need to start internet home business.

People think that starting a business is very-very expensive. It is true. If you start a regular business, that it took a lot of investment to start a business. You must buy a product, you must establish a store (if you planning on selling a product), you must create an outdoor banner, etc. Many things to prepare and a lot of money involve in starting a business.

The easiest way and the cheapest way to start a small home business, is start your business by selling other people product or your own product at internet.

How much it going to cost you??

If you can write your own e-book than you already have a product to sell. It is very easy. You can read my writing about “Internet home business; is it easy?”. My article tells you how easy to start a home business. Then how much investment you must invest in this business? After you got yourself a product, then first thing to do is create a domain name. It only cost you about $ 8.80 - $11.00 per year. It is depend on how much your registrar will charge you. After that, you must have a good web hosting company. I think you can register a good web hosting company around $8.00 - $12.00 per month (depending on how much space and bandwidth they offer to you and they will reduce the cost if you pay them annually). And there are many web hosting company provide you with web builder, if they don’t, than you can download a free web builder software. So it only cost you about $9.00-$13.00 per month. It is very very very cheap!!!

After you publish your web site it is means that you already open a new store, and about 2 billion people are walking around in front of your store. All you have to do now is how to attract those customers to enter your shop.

Start taking an action, NOW!!!

Yes, you Need a Cover Letter!

Description:

People ask me daily, "Do I really need a cover letter?" And every day I answer, "Yes, you do!" The cover letter is an essential document in your job search. If you want to end up on the "contact for an interview" list, read on to learn how a professionally written cover letter can benefit you.

People ask me daily, "Do I really need a cover letter?"

And every day I answer, "Yes, you do!"

The cover letter is an essential document in your job search. If you want to end up on the "contact for an interview" list, read on to learn how a professionally written cover letter can benefit you.

A cover letter announces what position you would like to apply for.

Imagine you are a decision maker for a Fortune 500 company. This company receives over two million internet hits daily on its careers page. Now consider how many resumes might be submitted each week. Without an accompanying cover letter, the hiring manger has to weed through the resume pile, attempting to discern what job-seekers are applying for. It is likely that many of the resumes end up being tossed aside. Sending a cover letter keeps the hiring manager from making assumptions when it concerns your resume.

A cover letter offers an added opportunity for you to market yourself.

What do you have to offer an employer that is distinctive? Do you have interests or expertise not listed on your resume? Sending a cover letter allows you to explain more of your "features and benefits" and demonstrate all of your unique qualifications. If you are willing to work extended hours or weekends, you can include this information as a unique selling point.

A cover letter allows you to explain details you avoided in your resume.

Why is there a large gap in your employment history? Are you changing careers? Why are you interested in XYZ Company? Why are you applying for a job in Tampa when you live in Denver (was it a mistake or are you relocating)? You can utilize your cover letter to answer many questions a hiring manager might have when reviewing your resume.

A well-written cover letter demonstrates excellent communication skills.

In every job, communication is important. Even if you do not directly interact with clients or customers, you will interact with coworkers and supervisors in meetings, in the lunchroom, and over the telephone.

It's well known that job-seekers with good communication skills are highly sought after in today's job market. Sending a cover letter suggests good business etiquette and proves that you have common courtesy; both are qualities of someone with solid communication skills.

A cover letter provides you the opportunity to ask for the interview.

Yes, you should request an interview, and you can do this without asking an actual question. Tell the employer how much you would love the opportunity to meet with them. As an added bonus, you could explain what you plan on doing for the company once you get started. If you're feeling confident, go ahead and say you will call to arrange a meeting with them.

A cover letter can reveal that you have done your homework on the company.

If you illustrate that you know a few things about the company, you will seem more believable when you express how enthusiastic you are about the company and how excited you are by the opportunity. Sending out the same generic cover letter template to 50 job announcements just can't create the same effect.

Vending Machines: You'll Never Guess What's Next

Description:

An insight into the future of vending machines and what they have to offer.

Content:

Where you previously would have found a selection of soda, candy and snacks, you will now find a wide selection of digital cameras, camera phones, iPods, accessories, and other electronic equipment. Vending machines all over the country are no longer merely for dispensing snacks to hungry people on the go.

Airports in San Francisco, Atlanta, as well as grocery stores in many major cities, now house a new breed of vending machines. These vending machines have evolved into efficient, automated dispensers where travlers can buy everything from the usual snacks and drinks to the newest, most popular electronic products.

Vending machines that dispense modern electronic products such as digital cameras, iPods and other mp3 players have already become mainstream in Japan and other countries. In those countries, people almost expect these vending machines to be available in popular areas like train stations, airports, grocery stores and shopping malls. Over the past couple of years, they have started popping up in one airport after the other in the United States. In the future, they will likely become a regular fixture in most of our airports, rail stations, grocery stores and other central locations.

These vending machines even accept credit cards as a form of payment. This is probably for the best, since the average traveler isn't likely to have an extra couple hundred in cash sitting in their back pocket. Although expensive, these new vending machine products are selling surprisingly well.

The reasons for these high vending machine sales are pretty logical when you think about it. Many travelers may be contemplating the purchase and think "I am going to get an iPod eventually anyways. So, why not just buy one now so that I can at least use it on this five hour flight?" Or they may realize, "I've been meaning to buy a digital camera. Instead of waiting, why not just get a camera now so that I will have great pictures of this trip." Other travelers may have just merely forgotten to purchase or pack their items amidst the rush of getting ready for a big trip. Whatever the reason, the products are indeed selling extremely well, which might make some people wonder what vending machines will dispense next.

By dispensing items from vending machines, the companies offering the products can increase the availability of their products without a big increase in overhead. There are no stores to staff or additional building spaces to lease. More people, and travelers in particular, are seeing their product and having the option to purchase it.

Because of the efficiency and innovation potential, vending machines may provide an unlimited number of options in the future for businesses as well as consumers. One thing is for sure; vending machines are evolving to become much more than most people would have ever thought. At this point, the sky is the limit.

The fun and pleasure of creating your own designs can start at any age. Once the fashion bug takes hold, it can be a very exciting and exhilarating time. The

There are certain qualities required to run a fashion design business and two of the most important ones are, tenacity and determination. There will be many times when

Home Based International Business Idea

Description:

Have a home based international business idea? Well, talk about home court advantage! However, starting a business can be difficult. How much more if you are trying to turn your home based international business idea work?

Content:

Have a home based international business idea? Well, talk about home court advantage! However, starting a business can be difficult. How much more if you are trying to make your home based international business idea work?

The workload you face can be seriously overwhelming as the prospect is huge. From establishing your business to setting work/life parameters, there is a lot to do and very little time to relax for sanitys sake. So how do you make your international home based business idea work?

Below are some tips:

Make a Plan

When you go on a day trip, you always have a road map with you. Thats because you want to know beforehand where you are going or point at a location and say that that is where you are going to be before the day is over.

Now, with your home based business idea, the same thing goes. You need a road map to tell you what you want to do in your first year. If you do not have some kind of plan going for you, chances are you never will and your business will stagnate.

Having a plan will help you organize stuff, help you make important decisions, budget your expenses, etc. etc. It will certainly help you manage your business and your personal life as home businesses do have the tendency to blur the lines between home life and your own thriving business. To avoid that, be sure to have a plan based on your home based international business idea.

Prioritize

You always have a lot of things to do in the house, right? But you cant do them all, so you have to do the more important things first before heading on for the less important stuff.

The same rule applies with your international home based business idea. If you do not prioritize the tasks involved in managing your business, then you will never get anything done. You cant, for instance, attend 25 networking events in one week. At most, you can only attend four events because you are pressed for time. Choose the more important events that you feel you must attend and put them on top of your priority list.

Do the same with the other aspects of your business. You will notice in no time that you can actually do more by prioritizing than by rushing from one task to another, causing your efficiency to suffer.

Take it Step by Step

Once you have priority list set up, time for you get some real work done. However, for your home based international business idea to work, you need to remember to take it one step at a time. After all, what is the purpose of making a priority list if you are still going to end up jumping on all of them with both feet.

Slow down. Dont commit too quickly. And certainly, dont try to do everything at once.
